I started this site way back in 2016 out of one simple need: I was tired of trying to play new games with friends and family, only to get bogged down by confusing or incomplete rulebooks. I realized I wasn’t the only one—so I built a site to make things easier for all of us.

Since then, Official Game Rules has grown into a trusted resource for over hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors who come here to find clear, easy-to-follow game instructions for everything from classic board games to modern party hits, outdoor activities, and drinking games.

To keep the site accurate and ever-growing, I work with a team of passionate contributors—fellow gamers, researchers, and editors—who help verify rule sets, resolve edge cases, and add new games each week.
