Official Exploding Kittens Party Pack Rules
Exploding Kittens Party Pack takes the classic Exploding Kittens gameplay and supercharges it for a larger party atmosphere. Here's how to play this purrfectly chaotic card game with 2-10 players:
Objective
The goal of Exploding Kittens is to be the last player remaining in the game without drawing an Exploding Kitten card.
Setup
8-10 Players: Deal 6 cards each.
Separate the Exploding Kittens: Unlike the original Exploding Kittens, you'll keep all the Exploding Kittens (9 cards) in the deck for this party version.
Player Scaling: Shuffle the entire deck thoroughly. Depending on the number of players, deal a specific number of cards to each player:
2-7 Players: Deal 7 cards each.
Discard Pile: Place the remaining deck face down in the center of the table as the draw pile. Draw the top card and place it face up to start the discard pile.
Gameplay
The game follows a similar turn structure to the original Exploding Kittens:
Your Turn: On your turn, you can take two actions from the following options (or choose to do only one):
Play a Card: Play any card from your hand and follow its instructions. Many cards allow you to draw cards, peek at the top cards of the deck, or force other players to draw.
Draw a Card: Draw the top card from the draw pile and add it to your hand. Be cautious – if you draw an Exploding Kitten, you're out!
End Your Turn: After taking your two actions (or one), discard a card from your hand face up to the discard pile. This ends your turn and play proceeds to the next player in clockwise order.
Exploding Kittens Party Pack Specifics:
More Players, More Mayhem: With up to 10 players involved, the game becomes more unpredictable and chaotic. Strategize carefully but be prepared to adapt as the deck and player actions shift quickly.
No Maximum Hand Size: Unlike the original game, there's no limit to the number of cards you can hold in your hand. This allows for more strategic card collection and potentially more "bomb disposal" options (Defuse cards) if you can hold onto them.
Defuse Cards: These precious cards are still your lifeline if you draw an Exploding Kitten. Play a Defuse card on your turn to avoid exploding and shuffle the Exploding Kitten back into the deck at a sneaky location of your choice.
Winning the Game
The last player remaining who hasn't exploded wins the game and is crowned the ultimate Exploding Kittens Party Pack champion!
