Objective: Work as a team to explore the jungle, find the missing parts of your rocket, and escape before the jungle sinks.
Components:
Jungle tiles
Rocket parts
Adventure cards
Danger cards
Player pawns
Sand markers
Rocket marker
Action cards
Forbidden Jungle board
Setup:
Shuffle the jungle tiles and place them face down to form the jungle.
Randomly place the rocket parts among the jungle tiles.
Distribute player pawns, placing them on the starting tile.
Shuffle and deal Adventure cards to each player.
Place sand markers on specific tiles as indicated in the setup instructions.
Place the rocket marker on the board.
Gameplay:
Take Actions (up to 4 actions):
Move: Move to an adjacent tile.
Explore: Flip an adjacent tile face up.
Clear Sand: Remove a sand marker from your tile or an adjacent tile.
Pick Up Rocket Part: Collect a rocket part from your tile.
Draw Adventure Cards:
Draw 2 Adventure cards at the end of your turn. These cards can provide bonuses or actions to help your team.
Draw Danger Cards:
After drawing Adventure cards, draw and resolve Danger cards. These can introduce new challenges like adding more sand markers or triggering special events.
Winning the Game:
The game is won when all rocket parts are collected, and players move to the launch pad tile and use an action to launch the rocket.
Losing the Game:
The game is lost if the jungle sinks before the rocket is launched or if any player cannot take a valid action due to blocked paths or other hindrances.
Special Rules:
Sand Markers: Represent obstacles. Players must clear these before moving or picking up parts.
Rocket Parts: Must be collected and brought to the launch pad to escape.
Player Abilities: Each player has a unique ability that can aid in exploration or clearing obstacles.
Strategy Tips:
Coordinate Actions: Work together to optimize movements and actions.
Manage Resources: Use Adventure cards wisely to overcome obstacles.
Plan Ahead: Anticipate potential dangers and prepare accordingly.
Setup Variations:
For a more challenging game, add more sand markers or introduce additional Danger cards.
