Earth by Inside Up Games, designed by Maxime Tardif, is a strategic board game where players take on the roles of different nations competing for global dominance. Here are the rules:

Objective

The objective of Earth is to lead your nation to prosperity and power by expanding your influence, managing resources, and achieving strategic objectives.

Components

  • Game board depicting a map of the world

  • Nation cards representing different countries

  • Resource tokens (e.g., food, energy, technology)

  • Action cards

  • Dice

  • Player markers or pawns

Setup

  1. Prepare the Board: Set up the game board in the center of the playing area.

  2. Select Nations: Each player selects or is assigned a nation card representing a different country. Each nation may have unique abilities or starting resources.

  3. Distribute Resources: Players receive an initial allocation of resource tokens based on their nation's starting conditions.

  4. Shuffle Decks: Shuffle the action cards and place them face down within easy reach of all players.

  5. Determine Starting Player: Decide who goes first by any agreed-upon method.

Gameplay

Winning the Game

The game ends when a player achieves the victory conditions specified in the scenario or when a predetermined number of turns have been completed. The player who meets the victory conditions or has the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner.
