Setup
- Divide players into two teams.
- Place the deck of cards, sand timer, and squeaker within reach.
- Decide which team will go first.
Gameplay
- Clue-Giver Selection: The active team selects a clue-giver who will provide hints for the team.
- Card Handling: The clue-giver draws a card and keeps it hidden from their teammates.
- Providing Clues: The clue-giver attempts to get their team to guess the main word without using:
- Any of the five taboo words listed on the card.
- Any part of the taboo words.
- Gestures, sounds, or abbreviations.
- Monitoring: The opposing team watches for violations. If the clue-giver uses a taboo word or breaks a rule, they press the squeaker, and the current card is discarded.
- Guessing: The team continues guessing until they get the word right or the time runs out.
- Scoring:
- Each correctly guessed word earns the team a point.
- Each violation results in a point for the opposing team.
Winning the Game
Teams alternate turns, and the game continues until a predetermined number of rounds have been played. The team with the most points at the end wins.
Additional Notes
The content of the cards is intended for mature audiences and includes references to pop culture and adult humor.
The game includes a QR code that provides access to a virtual buzzer, timer, and scoreboard, offering an alternative to the physical components.
