How to Play Rabble

Objective:

Teams compete to guess as many words as possible in three rounds, using different communication styles each round. The team with the most points at the end wins!

Game Components:

• Word Cards – Contain funny, quirky, or challenging words/phrases.
• Sand Timer – Limits each turn to a short time frame.
• Scorepad – Tracks points for each team.

Setup:

1. Divide into two teams.
2. Shuffle the word cards and deal an equal number to both teams.
3. Set a timer and decide which team goes first.
4. Each team selects a player to start as the clue giver.

Gameplay:

The game consists of three rounds, each with different rules for giving clues:

Round 1: Describe It!

• The clue giver can say anything except the word itself.
• Teammates shout out guesses until they get it right.
• Move to the next card and continue until time runs out.

Round 2: Act It Out!

• No words allowed—players must act out the word like charades.
• Teammates guess as many as possible before time runs out.

Round 3: One-Word Clue!

• The clue giver can say only one word to describe the word.
• No gestures, acting, or extra hints!

After all three rounds, teams tally their correct guesses.

Winning the Game:

The team with the most correctly guessed words at the end of round 3 wins!

• Memorize words from Round 1—they repeat in later rounds!
