How to Play Think N’ Sync

Objective

The goal of Think ‘N Sync is to match answers with your teammate as quickly as possible. The more synchronized your answers, the more points you score!

Setup

Gather Players – The game is best played in teams of two. You can play with as many players as you’d like, rotating partners if needed.
Shuffle the Cards – Place the deck of category cards face down in the center of the group.
Decide the Order – Choose the first team to play. Play moves clockwise after each round.
Set a Timer – Use a stopwatch or timer (usually set to 60 seconds per round).

Gameplay

Draw a Card – A non-playing team (or designated host) picks a card and reads the first prompt aloud.
Countdown & Shout Answers – The two players on the active team count to three together (“1, 2, 3!”) and then shout their answers simultaneously.
Match or Miss? – If their answers match, they score a point. If not, they move to the next prompt.
Keep Going – The team continues answering prompts on the card until time runs out.
Pass if Stuck – If a team struggles with a prompt, they can pass and move on to the next one.
Tally Points – At the end of the round, count the number of matched answers and record the score.
Rotate Teams – The next team takes their turn with a new card.

Winning the Game

The game continues for a set number of rounds or until a designated point total is reached.
The team with the highest score at the end wins and is officially the most in sync!

Game Variations

Speed Round: Each team plays through multiple cards in a single turn.
Lightning Match: Play without a timer and keep going until you reach a certain number of correct matches.
Battle Mode: Two teams go head-to-head on the same prompts, and the first to match wins the point.
