How to Play Trash Monsters
Players: 2–5
Ages: 7+

Game Setup
- Deal 10 cards to each player face down in two rows of 5. Players do not look at their cards.
- Place the remaining deck in the center as the Draw Pile.
- Flip one card face up to start the Trash Pile.
- The youngest player goes first.

Gameplay
Your Turn
- Play a card: If the top card on the Trash Pile is playable, use it. Otherwise, draw a card from the Draw Pile.
- Monster Cards:
- Place the Monster Card in its matching spot in your face-down set (e.g., a 5 goes in spot 5).
- Flip the card previously in that spot and play it immediately.
- Wild Monster Cards:
- Can be placed in any spot.
- Flip the card in that spot and continue playing.
- You may move Wild Monsters around if a matching Monster shows up.
- Trash Panda Cards:
- Steal a playable card from another player (replace it with a Draw Pile card).
- If no player has a playable card, take from the Trash Pile.
- If no playable card exists there, draw from the Draw Pile until you find one.
- Trash Pandas cannot be taken from the Trash Pile.
- Turn ends: Your turn ends when you draw a Trash Card or a duplicate Monster Card, which is then discarded.

Winning a Round
- Your goal is to line up your card set in numerical order from 1 to 10 (or the current round’s number).
- Once complete, yell “Trash Monsters!”
Last Chance Draw
- After a player completes their set, remaining players get one final turn.
- Play it like a normal turn: draw, play Wilds, Monster Cards, or Trash Pandas.
- Cannot steal from players who already completed their set.
Dumpster Diving
- After all turns are done, players can flip their remaining hidden cards and try to complete their set.
- Move Monster Cards and Wild Monsters as needed.
- Trash Pandas cannot be used to steal from completed sets.
- You may dig through the Trash Pile or Draw Pile to find a needed card.
Next Round
- Rotate the dealer.
- Players who completed their set in the previous round start with one fewer card (e.g., 9 cards instead of 10).
- Continue decreasing card counts each round until 1 card remains.
- The first player to complete all rounds is the Trash Monster Master!
Using Trash Panda Cards
- Steal a playable card from another player if possible.
- If no player has a card, check the Trash Pile top-down.
- If none found, draw from the Draw Pile until a playable card appears.
- If you draw another Trash Panda during your turn, you can play it immediately.
- Do not steal from players with completed sets.
- Trash Pandas cannot be picked up from the Trash Pile.
