Card Types Explained
Unicorn Cards
Unicorn cards stay in your Stable once played, unless a card effect removes them.
- Baby Unicorns
Every player starts with one. Baby Unicorns cannot be removed from your Stable. - Colorful Unicorns
These are the main cards you collect to win. Each one has a color and symbol, and many have special effects. Colorful Unicorn cards feature 1 of 8 colors and a color-specific symbol in the bottom left corner. Colorful Unicorn cards can be paired with Magic cards that have a matching symbol to cast powerful spells. Some represent heroes, some are goofy, and some are recurring fan favorites like Uniquecorn.

Magic Cards
Magic cards let you do special things, such as stealing Unicorns or trading cards.
- Most Magic cards require a payment method: you must discard another card from your hand.
- If you have a Unicorn in your Stable with a matching symbol, you may play the Magic card without paying.
- After resolving the effect, place the Magic card in the discard pile.
Neigh Cards
Neigh cards are used to stop other players.
- You may play a Neigh card during another player’s turn.
- A Neigh cancels the card that was just played.
- Neigh cards can even cancel other Neigh cards.
Running Out of Cards
If the deck empties, shuffle the discard pile and turn it into a new draw pile. This keeps the game moving smoothly, even with high play frequency.
Winning the Game
The first player to have seven Unicorns in their Stable immediately wins the game.
