Monopoly: House of the Dragon Edition combines the classic Monopoly gameplay with a House of the Dragon twist. Players buy, trade, and develop properties inspired by the Seven Kingdoms, all while trying to bankrupt opponents and claim victory as the wealthiest House.

How to Play Monopoly House of the Dragon Edition
Objective
The goal is to become the wealthiest player through property acquisition, Dragon Egg and Dragon upgrades, and strategic management of coins, forcing opponents into bankruptcy. The last player remaining with money wins the game.
Game Setup
- Each player chooses a House token.
- Place the gameboard on a flat surface.
- Distribute starting money to each player.
- Each player starts with 20M (20 Million coins). The distribution is typically:
- 2 × 10M coins
- 2 × 5M coins
- 6 × 1M coins
- Shuffle the Title Deed, Ash & Bone, and Fire & Blood decks.
- Place Dragon Eggs and Dragons within reach.
- Each player picks one of the 6 golden game tokens: House Targaryen, House Hightower, House Velaryon, House Lannister, House Strong, and House Royce
- Determine the starting player by rolling the dice.

Player Turns
On your turn, follow these steps:
- Roll the Dice
Roll both dice and move your House token clockwise around the board the number of spaces rolled. - Resolve the Space
After moving, take one of the following actions based on the space landed on:- Unowned Property
You may purchase the property by paying the bank the listed cost on the Title Deed card. If you choose not to buy, the property is auctioned to the other players. - Owned Property
Pay rent to the property owner. Rent amounts are determined by Dragon Egg or Dragon upgrades. - Ash & Bone / Fire & Blood Cards
Draw the top card from the corresponding deck and follow its instructions. These cards may give bonuses, impose penalties, or create special board effects. - Special Spaces
Some spaces may force you to pay coins, gain coins, or send your token to a designated location (like “Dragon’s Lair”).

Property Upgrades
Dragon Eggs
- Dragon Eggs function like houses in classic Monopoly.
- You may purchase a Dragon Egg for a property you fully own.
- Dragon Eggs increase the rent owed when opponents land on that property.
Dragons
- Dragons function like hotels.
- Once you have placed 4 Dragon Eggs on a property, you can upgrade to a Dragon.
- Dragons dramatically increase rent and add strategic value to your holdings.
Rules for Upgrades:
- You must own all properties within a color set to place Dragon Eggs or Dragons.
- Dragon Eggs must be evenly distributed across properties in a set.
- You may not place a Dragon until each property in the set has 4 Dragon Eggs.

Collecting Coins
- Collect coins when passing Go (or starting location).
- Receive bonuses or penalties from Ash & Bone / Fire & Blood cards.
- Earn rent from other players landing on your properties.
- Coins are required for purchases, upgrades, and paying fines.
Bankruptcy and Eliminations
- If a player cannot pay what they owe, they are bankrupt.
- Bankruptcy rules:
- If you owe another player, give them all your properties and coins.
- If you owe the bank, return all properties and upgrades to the bank.
- Bankrupt players are out of the game.
Special Card Effects
Ash & Bone Cards may include:
- Stealing coins from opponents.
- Forcing opponents to lose Dragon Eggs or Dragons.
- Sending tokens to specific board spaces.
Fire & Blood Cards may include:
- Gaining extra coins.
- Free Dragon Egg or Dragon purchases.
- Immediate property acquisitions.
Players must follow the instructions on these cards exactly when drawn.

Winning the Game
The game ends when all opponents have gone bankrupt. The remaining player with coins and property is declared the ruler of Westeros and Essos and wins the game.
