Official TAP 2 WIN Word Game Rules

TAP 2 WIN is a fast-paced word game for 2 to 8 players, ages 8 and up. Players race against the timer to give valid answers that match a category. Quick thinking and fast reflexes are key to winning. Here’s how to play:

How to Play TAP 2 WIN Word Game

Overview

• Players: 2–8
• Ages: 8+
• Play Time: 15–20 minutes
• Includes:
  • 36 double-sided category cards (144 unique categories total)
  • TAP 2 WIN electronic timer wheel (press-activated)

Setup

1. Place the TAP 2 WIN Wheel in the center of the table.
2. Shuffle the category cards and place them in a stack, face down.
3. Choose a player to go first.

Gameplay

1. Press the TAP 2 WIN Wheel to activate the timer (timer lasts for 10 seconds).
2. On each turn, the player draws the top category card and read one side aloud.
3. The player then gives an answer that fits the category of the card they drew. After giving an answer (i.e. card category is “actor” and the player says “Tom Cruise”) they then hit the corresponding letter on the wheel. Then press the central button to turn the timer off.

Play continues clockwise with the next player. They must immediately hit the timer and:

• Give a unique and valid answer that fits the category.
• Tap the corresponding letter on the wheel and then tap the center button to shut off the timer.

Play then continues to the next player. If a player:

• Fails to give a valid answer,Repeats a previous answer,Or runs out of time,they are eliminated from the round.

Winning the Round

The last remaining player wins the round and earns 1 point.

To reset the board after a round is complete simply press on one of the central orange ‘tabs’ so it clicks to the left.

The game continues in rounds. The first player to reach a set number of points (e.g., 5) wins the game.
