How to Play Mount Cleverest
Objective
Be the last player remaining with at least one true/false token by correctly guessing whether facts are true or false.
Components
- Triangular question cards, each featuring six true-or-false facts
- Round true/false tokens (enough for all players to start with five each)
- Game instructions / rulebook

Setup
- Deal one triangular question card to each player.
- Give each player five round true/false tokens.
Mount Cleverest Gameplay
- Choose a player to begin.
- The starting player reads aloud one fact from their triangular question card.
Making Guesses
- All players except the question reader secretly decide if the fact is true or false.
- To indicate their guess, each player slides one of their round tokens forward while keeping it covered.
Reveal and Resolve
- All players reveal their guesses simultaneously by uncovering their tokens.
- The question reader then reveals the correct answer, printed on the back of the card.
- Players who guessed incorrectly remove one token from their supply.
Next Turn
- The player to the left of the current question reader becomes the next reader.
- This player reads a new fact from their card.
- Repeat the guessing and revealing steps.
Card Rotation
- After all six facts on the question cards have been read, players draw new cards from the box to continue.
Winning the Game
- The game continues until only one player has at least one token remaining.
- If two or more players lose their final token at the same time, those players share the victory.
Additional Tips
For large groups, coins can replace tokens, with heads representing “true” and tails “false.”
Adjust the number of starting tokens to make the game longer or shorter.
Mount Cleverest has three editions: Original, Movies, and Geography, each featuring different questions.
Eliminated players become question readers for the remaining players.
