How to Play Quik Stix
Game Overview
- Players: 2–8
- Ages: 7+
- Play Time: ~15 minutes
- Included:
- 40 assorted objects
- Object cards
- Quik Stix with easy-to-use connectors
- Bowl or container for objects
Objective
Be the first team to collect 5 objects by winning fast-paced duels with your Quik Stix!
Setup
- Place all 40 objects into a central bowl or container.
- Shuffle the object cards and place them face down in a stack.
- Divide players into 2 teams (or more for larger groups).
- Give each player a Quik Stix tool and ensure connectors are securely attached.
How to Play
Each round plays as follows:
- Flip the top object card from the deck and reveal it to all players.
- When the card is revealed, players race to grab the matching object from the bowl using only their Quik Stix.
- Players have 30 seconds to transfer the object from the bowl to their hand using their Quik Stix—no hands allowed!
- The first player (or team) to successfully complete the transfer wins that object and adds it to their collection.
- Set the used object aside and begin the next round.
Winning the Game
The first team to collect 5 different objects wins the game!
In smaller games (2–4 players), feel free to play best-of-5 or first to 3 for a quicker match.
Tips and Variations
- For a more challenging game, mix up non-matching object decoys into the bowl!
- Play in teams with relay-style rules—one player at a time per object.
- Add a rule where players must name the object or its color out loud before grabbing it!
