How to Play Texas Hold’em Bonus

Objective

• To beat the dealer’s hand with your best five-card poker hand using your two hole cards and the five community cards.

Card Rankings and Hand Values

• Royal Flush: A, K, Q, J, 10 all of the same suit
• Straight Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit
• Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank
• Full House: Three of a Kind plus a Pair
• Flush: Five cards of the same suit, not consecutive
• Straight: Five consecutive cards of any suit
• Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank
• Two Pair: Two pairs of cards

• High Card: The highest card if no other hand is made

Gameplay

1. Placing Bets:
   • Players place an initial bet in the “Ante” area of the table.
2. Dealing Cards:
   • Each player receives two private cards (hole cards) face down.
   • The dealer places five community cards face up in the center of the table.
3. Bonus Bet:
   • Players may place a Bonus Bet in addition to their Ante. The Bonus Bet pays based on the strength of the player’s final five-card hand, regardless of the dealer’s hand.
4. Player Actions:
   • After receiving their hole cards, players have the option to fold, call, or raise the Ante.
   • Players will then see the community cards in phases: the “Flop” (first three cards), the “Turn” (fourth card), and the “River” (fifth card).
5. Making the Best Hand:
   • Players use their two hole cards and the five community cards to make the best possible five-card hand.
6. Bonus Payouts:
   • The Bonus Bet is paid out based on the player’s final hand, independent of whether they win or lose the main game against the dealer.
7. Dealer’s Hand:
   • The dealer must have at least a pair of 4s to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, players who have not folded win even money on their Ante bet, and the Bonus Bet is paid according to the paytable.
   • If the dealer qualifies, the player’s hand is compared to the dealer’s hand. Winning hands are paid even money on the Ante and any raises, and the Bonus Bet is paid according to the paytable.

Payouts

• Ante Bet: Typically pays even money (1:1) if the player wins.
• Bonus Bet: Paid based on the player’s final hand, independent of the dealer’s hand.
• Raise Bet: Paid based on the standard paytable for poker hands.
• Dealer Qualification: The dealer must have at least a pair of 4s to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the player wins the Ante bet.
