Objective

Score the most points by rolling dice to match Spider-Man & Friends characters and form character teams. On each turn, you may roll the dice up to three times. The more identical characters or teams you roll, the higher your score!

Game Assembly

  1. Punch out the 20 scoring tokens and 10 team tokens from the cardboard sheet. Discard the extra cardboard.
  2. Apply the six Spider-Man & Friends stickers to the dice—one character on each face.

Setup

  1. Each player selects 5 scoring tokens of the same color. (Note: Some tokens will remain unused in 2- or 3-player games.)
  2. Shuffle the team tokens and place them facedown.
  3. Place the five labeled dice in the dice cup.
  4. Set the scoreboard within reach of all players.

How to Play

  • The youngest player goes first. Play continues clockwise.
  • On your turn, roll the dice up to three times to try to match as many of the same character as possible—or one of each to form a team (see Team Rules below).
  • After scoring, place your character’s token on the scoreboard to mark your points.
  • You may only score one character per turn and cannot score the same character more than once.

Game End

  • In a 2- or 3-player game, the game ends when one player has placed all 5 of their tokens.
  • In a 4-player game, the game ends when one player has placed 4 tokens.

On Your Turn

  1. Roll all five dice.
  2. Keep any matching characters if you like.
  3. You may reroll any or all dice two more times.
  4. After any roll, you may choose to score.
  5. After your third roll, you must score.

You’re trying to either:

  • Match as many of one character as you can (up to 5), or
  • Build a complete team (one of each character).

Dice Rolling Example

First Roll: 2 Captain Americas, 1 Hulk, 1 Storm, 1 Wolverine
You keep the 2 Captain Americas and reroll the others.

Second Roll: 3 Wolverines
Now you switch focus. Keep the 3 Wolverines, reroll the 2 Captain Americas.

Third Roll: 1 more Wolverine
You now have 4 Wolverines. Score 4 points and end your turn.

Special Spider-Man Rule

Spider-Man is wild! You can treat a Spider-Man face as any character.
Example: If you roll 3 Storms, 1 Spider-Man, and 1 Hulk—you can count it as 4 Storms or even 2 Hulks, depending on your scoring needs.

Scoring

  • After your final roll, total the number of matching characters.
  • Place your scoring token in the correct row and column of the scoreboard (e.g., 3 Wolverines → place token in column 3 of the Wolverine row).
  • You may only place one token per turn and cannot score the same character twice.
  • Once placed, a scoring token cannot be moved.

Yahtzee (5 of a kind)

If you roll 5 of the same character, place your token in the number 5 column of that character’s row.

Spider-Man Yahtzee

Roll 5 Spider-Mans? Choose any character you haven’t scored yet and place your token in that character’s number 5 column.

Token Placement Rules

  • Only one token is allowed per scoring space.
  • If a space is already occupied, place your token in the next available space to the left in that character’s row.
  • Once placed, tokens cannot be moved or replaced.

Scoring Example

In a 2-player game, if your opponent has already scored 5 Captain Americas, you can only place your token in the next available spot—such as scoring 4 Captain Americas instead.

Scoring for Young Players

Help younger children by counting each space they’ve filled. Add all the spaces up to and including where each token is placed. The player with the highest total wins.

Tiebreaker

If two or more players tie, each rolls all five dice once. The player who rolls the most Spider-Mans wins the game.

Solo Mode

Play solo by taking 5 full turns. Try to roll the best combination each time, placing all 5 of your tokens on the board. Add up your total to see your final score!
