Summit or Plummet is an adventurous board game by Goliath, designed for 2–4 players aged 8 and up. Players race to ascend a towering 13-inch 3D mountain, facing challenges and strategic decisions along the way.

  • 1 Giant 13-inch 3D Mountain (5 interlocking pieces)
  • 4 Climbers and 4 Backpack Mats

Objective

Be the first climber to reach the summit and plant your flag. Along the way, manage your supplies, navigate obstacles, and outmaneuver opponents.


Setup

  1. Assemble the Mountain: Connect the 5 mountain pieces to form the 3D structure.
  2. Prepare Decks: Shuffle the Adventure and Supply cards separately.
  3. Distribute Materials:
    • Each player selects a climber and receives a matching backpack mat and victory flag.
    • Place climbers at the mountain’s base camp.
  4. Determine First Player: Decide who starts the game.

Gameplay Overview

Players take turns in a clockwise direction. On your turn:

  1. Roll the Die: Move your climber up the mountain based on the roll.
  2. Draw an Adventure Card: Follow the instructions, which may present challenges or opportunities.
  3. Manage Supplies: Use Supply Cards to aid your ascent or hinder opponents.

Players can choose to climb solo, form temporary alliances, or strategically impede others.


Winning the Game

The first player to reach the summit and plant their flag wins the game.
