How to Play Throw Throw Burrito Extreme Outdoor Edition
What’s Included
- 120 game cards
- 2 inflatable burritos (giant, squishy, and throwable)
- 7 game tokens
- Dry-erase scoreboards
- Repair patches (just in case)
Setup
- Split into Two Teams — Usually 3–6 players per team, but you can adjust based on group size.
- Divide the Cards — Shuffle the cards and deal them into draw piles for each team.
- Create a Playing Field — Set the two inflatable burritos in the center of the play area. Leave space between teams to run and dodge.
Gameplay
The game combines card-matching with dodgeball mechanics. Here’s how it works:
- Draw & Match – Each team member takes turns drawing and discarding cards to create three-of-a-kind sets.
- Trigger Battles – If a player completes a burrito combo (like “Burrito Brawl” or “Burrito War”), the corresponding battle starts immediately:
- Burrito Brawl: Two players (one from each team) duel—first to hit the other with a burrito wins.
- Burrito War: All players rush the burritos; last one hit wins.
- Burrito Duel: Two players take steps back, Wild West-style, then turn and throw on “Burrito!”
- Scoring – Winning battles earns your team tokens. At the end of the game, the team with the most tokens wins.
Key Rules
- Always throw below the shoulders.
- If someone gets hit in the face, the throw doesn’t count.
- You can deflect throws using another burrito.
- Keep it safe and fun—no full-strength throws.
