How to Play Baseball (Drinking Game)

Setup

You’ll need a large playing area (typically a long table) and the following materials:

  • 3 cups of beer (or your drink of choice)
  • Ping pong balls
  • 2-4 teams (2 players per team works best)
  • A table or space to set up the cups and “bases”

How to Play

  1. Setting Up the Bases: Arrange 3 cups in a line at one end of the table, representing the bases. At the other end, place your “home plate” with a large cup where the batter aims to land the ping pong ball.
  2. Batting and Fielding Teams: Split players into two teams: one will bat, and the other will field. The batting team aims to land the ping pong ball in the cups placed as bases, while the fielding team tries to stop them.
  3. Taking Turns: Players from the batting team take turns trying to bounce the ping pong ball into one of the base cups. If they succeed, they advance to that base. The other team must quickly attempt to “tag” them out by catching the ball before they reach the base.
  4. Advancing and Scoring: Each successful “hit” lets the batter advance from one base to the next. When a player makes it all the way to “home plate,” they score a run. After each turn, the teams switch roles, with the fielding team now batting.
  5. Drinking and Challenges: Whenever a player reaches a base, they must take a drink (usually a sip or shot). If the ball lands in a cup, the fielding team drinks from that cup. The batter has to finish their drink if they score a run. For a more competitive twist, consider including a penalty drink for any missed throws or errors.

Conclusion

Baseball (drinking game) brings the excitement of the classic sport into a drinking competition with an extra layer of fun and unpredictability. Combining Beer Pong with Flip Cup creates a fast-paced game that’s perfect for groups, ensuring everyone gets involved whether they’re batting, fielding, or drinking. It’s a surefire way to raise the energy at any party and keep the good times rolling!
