Let’s Go Camping is a hilarious memory game that tests your recall and creativity. Players go around naming items they’re “bringing camping” — but you have to remember everything that’s been said before you. Miss something? Time to drink!

How to Play Let’s Go Camping (Drinking Game)

What You Need:

  • 3 or more players
  • Your drink of choice
  • A sharp memory (or at least a good bluff)

How to Play

  1. Pick a Starting Player
    They’ll begin by saying:
    “I’m going camping, and I’m bringing [something that starts with A]…”
    Example: “I’m going camping, and I’m bringing an axe.”
  2. Next Player Adds to the List
    The second person must repeat the first item in order, and then add one of their own that starts with the next letter of the alphabet:
    “I’m going camping, and I’m bringing an axe and a blanket.”
  3. Keep Going Alphabetically
    Each player takes a turn, repeating the growing list in full and adding a new item that begins with the next letter in the alphabet. By the time you get to “M” or “N,” it gets tough — and funny.
  4. If You Mess Up… You Drink!
    Forget an item, mix up the order, or hesitate too long? Take a drink!

Alternate Rules & Twists

  • Theme Mode: Limit items to a specific category like camping gear, animals, or food.
  • Double Trouble: If you say the same item as someone else earlier in the round (even if it was correct), drink.
  • Speed Round: Add a timer for each turn. Take too long? Drink.

Game End

The game goes until you get through the whole alphabet (A–Z), or until everyone’s memory totally collapses. Either way, it’s guaranteed laughs.
