How to Play Chandeliers Drinking Game

What You’ll Need

  • One big cup (a pint glass or solo cup works great): This goes in the middle and gets filled with beer.
  • A small cup for each player: Set these up in a ring around the center cup. Each one should have a splash of beer inside.
  • At least one quarter: You’ll be bouncing this during the game.
  • Beer: Enough to refill as needed.

Setup

  1. Put the large, beer-filled cup in the center of the table.
  2. Place each player’s smaller cup in a circle around the big one.
  3. Everyone takes a seat and gets ready to bounce.

How to Play

  • Players take turns bouncing a quarter off the table, trying to land it in one of the cups.
  • If it lands in another player’s small cup: That person drinks the beer in their cup.
  • If it lands in the center cup: That’s the signal for a “chandelier showdown.” Every player must immediately chug their drink, then flip their cup upside down and place it on their head.
  • The last person to do this drinks the entire center cup.

Optional Strategies!

As players get more competitive, expect wild strategies—some might pour beer on themselves just to flip faster and dodge drinking the big cup. It’s all part of the fun.

Ending the Game

There’s no official finish line—play until the beer runs out, someone breaks a glass, or laughter overtakes accuracy.
